The target group for work-related rehabilitation services is working-age persons (16 years to retirement age) with musculoskeletal and mental disorders who have identified partial work ability or disability and who are working, looking for work, or studying. The need for work-related rehabilitation is assessed by an Unemployment Insurance Fund case manager during work-focused counseling.
Work-related rehabilitation service is justified primarily when the client’s ability to act is limited in several areas due to disability or health condition and they need the help of several specialists or a rehabilitation team simultaneously.
We focus on addiction disorders (drug addiction, alcohol addiction, tobacco addiction, anxiety disorders, mental disorders), as well as the need for psychological and counseling support resulting from work-related burnout and traumatic experiences that have caused short-term coping difficulties in studying and/or working.
Doctor and nurse services in work-related rehabilitation are advisory in content and do not include treatment-related activities such as diagnosis, preparation of a treatment plan, issuing prescriptions, performing treatment procedures, or issuing referrals to specialists or examinations.
The service is not provided to persons under 16 years of age, who have reached old-age pension age or receive an early old-age pension or the allowance of a rescue worker waiting for an old-age pension, or to persons who are provided with social rehabilitation services on the basis of the Social Welfare Act.
